Traditional Hand Painted Art of Kurukulla Dakini
The hand-painted art of Kurukulla Dakini is complete in the traditional Karma Gardi style. We have portrayed the deity in red color, having red garments and bonen ornaments. She is depicted standing on a lotus sun disc with four arms. The left hand carry Khatvang and a flowering stem, while the other two hold a pair of flower-adorned arrows about to be released from a floral bow. The garland of human heads signifies the fifty vowels and consonants of the Sanskrit alphabet. She is doing ardhaparyanka asana while dancing, with her left leg resting on a corpse and her right leg bent.
