About our Statue:

This Kagyu Masters Statue Set represents three of the most influential masters of the Kagyu lineage: Marpa Lotsawa, Gampopa, and Milarepa. Each sculpture is handcrafted from oxidized copper with electric gold-plated details, creating a striking contrast between the dark copper surface and the radiant golden ornaments. The statues are carefully designed with traditional robes, seated postures, and distinctive features that reflect the unique identities of these great teachers. The combination of oxidized finishing and gold accents highlights the detailed craftsmanship and symbolic importance of this sacred lineage set.

The set depicts Marpa, Gampopa, and Milarepa, the renowned masters who played a central role in preserving and transmitting the teachings of the Kagyu tradition. Marpa Lotsawa, seated at the top, is shown as the great translator who brought profound Buddhist teachings from India to Tibet. Gampopa, one of his most important successors, represents the union of Kadampa teachings with Mahamudra practice. Milarepa, recognized by his simple robes and meditative posture, symbolizes deep realization, perseverance, and the attainment of enlightenment through dedicated practice. Each master is portrayed with traditional iconographic details that represent their spiritual legacy.

This Kagyu lineage statue set is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, practitioners, and collectors of Himalayan Buddhist art. The three figures together represent the continuity of wisdom transmission from teacher to disciple, making the set a meaningful addition to devotional spaces and collections. With its detailed craftsmanship, gold-plated accents, and representation of three great masters, this handcrafted set reflects the heritage and spiritual significance of the Kagyu tradition.

Introduction To Buddhist Masters:

Three revered personalities in the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism are Marpa, Gampopa, and Milarepa. A farmer by trade, Marpa the Translator founded the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and rose to prominence as one of Tibet's great masters. Milarepa, Marpa's disciple, is revered for his songs and poetry about the road to enlightenment. Gampopa, Marpa's student, combined the Kadampa teachings with the Mahamudra practice. This group of figures represents the fundamental Tibetan Buddhist idea of teachings being passed down from master to pupil.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
