About Thangka

Our thangka is a handpainted Tibetan art done using traditional methods. It is a unique piece created using genuine 24K gold and natural stone colors.

Introduction to Kagyu Mahakala Buddha

Kagyu Mahakala Buddha is wrathful, black-cloaked, emerging from the clouds. He has hair that runs upward, three wide eyes, a beard, massive eyebrows, and a beard. He wields a curved flaying knife with a vajra (spiritual instrument) handle high over his head, printed with six hands. A blood-filled skull cup is held in his left hand. He had a crown of five white skulls on his head, earrings, bracelets, and a garland of freshly chopped heads wrapped around his waist. His rage is comparable to a father defending a child from harm. He looks at the forms he is attempting to destroy because he is afraid of himself.
