About Our Statue :
This Historical Buddha Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is an intricately crafted representation of the Buddha, made from oxidized copper and designed to evoke a sense of serenity and enlightenment. Standing at 8.5cm tall and 6cm wide, this statue weighs a modest 0.21kg, making it perfect for personal altars, meditation spaces, or small shrines.
The statue features Shakyamuni Buddha seated in a traditional meditation posture, with his hands in the Dharmachakra mudra (the gesture of teaching). The fine details, from the flowing robes to the serene facial expression, capture the essence of the Buddha’s wisdom, calm, and compassion. The oxidized copper finish gives the statue a timeless, antique look, while the rich patina enhances the intricate carvings on the lotus base, which symbolize purity and spiritual enlightenment.
This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is perfect for daily meditation, spiritual practice, or as an offering on your Buddhist altar. Its compact size makes it easy to place anywhere, and its design encourages mindfulness and a deeper connection to the Buddha’s teachings. Whether you are new to Buddhism or seeking to deepen your spiritual journey, this statue serves as both a decorative and functional piece, providing spiritual energy and peace to any space.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king, following his father's wishes, and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
