About Our Product

This Historic Buddha Shakyamuni Statue is a handcrafted sacred artwork measuring 7cm in height, 6.5cm in length, and 4.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.18 kg. Made from natural stone, this small Buddha sculpture reflects the traditional style of Himalayan Buddhist art. The simple form, aged appearance, and carved details represent Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha who attained enlightenment and shared the teachings of wisdom, compassion, and liberation.

This Shakyamuni Buddha statue displays traditional Buddhist details. Buddha is shown seated in a meditative posture with a peaceful expression, representing inner calm, awareness, and spiritual awakening. His right hand touches the ground in Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing the moment of enlightenment when he called the Earth to witness his awakening. His left hand rests in meditation posture, representing concentration and inner balance. The simple robes, curled hair, and carved stone surface highlight the ancient artistic style and the devotion behind the creation of this sacred figure.

This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, personal collections, or sacred displays. As the founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni Buddha represents wisdom, compassion, and the path toward enlightenment. Placing this statue in a spiritual space inspires mindfulness, peaceful reflection, and a deeper connection with Buddhist teachings.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom, raised to be a king according to his royal father's wishes. However, around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his lavish lifestyle, opulent clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a remedy. After nearly six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he achieved his goal: enlightenment (becoming a Buddha). He later claimed to have visited a deer park near Sarnath (Benares), outside Varanasi, India.
