About Our Product
This Himalayan Altar Mandala Offering measures 25cm in height, 13.5cm in length, and 13.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.31 kg. Crafted from copper, the ritual piece is formed with several stacked circular sections that gradually become smaller toward the upper part. Each level is richly decorated with raised sacred designs, floral patterns, ornamental borders, and traditional Himalayan details. A mandala offering set is traditionally used in Buddhist practice to symbolically offer the entire universe and everything precious within it.
This Mandala Offering features four decorated circular levels placed one above another. The broad lower level provides the foundation and is covered with raised sacred designs and detailed borders. The middle sections continue with Buddhist symbols, floral patterns, and ornamental panels arranged around their surfaces. The gradually rising levels represent the symbolic world being offered during mandala practice. A narrow raised section supports the final ornament, which is shaped like a flame or jewel form and decorated with detailed scrolling work and a central sacred design. The many carved panels and repeating borders give every level a richly worked ceremonial appearance. In Buddhist practice, the mandala offering represents generosity, devotion, the gathering of merit, and the wish to offer everything valuable for the benefit of all beings and spiritual awakening.
This copper mandala set can be used on a Buddhist altar, shrine, meditation table, Dharma room, monastery, or personal practice space. During mandala offering practice, rice, grains, or other traditional materials may be placed on the different levels while making symbolic offerings. It can also be displayed as a meaningful ritual object representing generosity, devotion, and dedication to the Buddhist path.

Mandalas are typically symmetric, consisting of concentric circles and squares. The Mandala is identified by its center point, which is the residence of the resident deity. Lines are drawn from the center, intersecting to form circles and squares. The completed Mandalas have four gates representing the culmination of four virtues: compassion, kindness, sympathy, and equanimity. Other Buddhist auspicious symbols can be incorporated into the design as well.
