This type, called Sahasrabhuja Avalokiteshvara, is the power to extend the hand in a thousand directions; each arm is an act of compassion, and each eye is a form of wisdom and recognition. Chenrezig is praised as a supporter and guide who addresses suffering with unconditional mercy and artful methods. 1000 Armed Chenrezig is depicted with many other deities. Samantabhadra, also known as the Bodhisattva of Universal Virtue, is referred to as the personification of pure consciousness, the awakened, natural state of mind. Manjushri, also known as Manjushree and Manjughosha, is venerated as the deity of wisdom or clear insight and understanding, which cuts through confusion and ignorance. Green Tara, also known as Shyamatara, is one of the most revered forms of the deity in the context of Tibetan Buddhism and is revered for her swift and compassionate protection.
