About Our Product
This Handmade Wisdom Manjushri Statue is a finely crafted Buddhist sculpture created from a copper body and enhanced with 24K gold plating and detailed acrylic colors. Measuring 23 cm in height, 17.5 cm in length, and 10.5 cm in width, with a weight of 1.42 kg, the statue portrays Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of transcendent wisdom, seated gracefully upon an intricately designed lotus pedestal. The radiant golden surface, jeweled crown, detailed ornaments, flowing scarves, and sacred attributes reflect the traditional artistry of Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship.
Manjushri is revered in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism as the embodiment of wisdom, intelligence, and enlightened understanding. This statue depicts him holding the flaming sword of wisdom in his right hand, symbolizing the cutting away of ignorance, confusion, and delusion. His left hand holds the stem of a blossoming utpala flower supporting the Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing the perfection of wisdom and the teachings that guide practitioners toward awakening. His peaceful expression and royal adornments reflect the clarity and brilliance of enlightened awareness.

Introduction To Manjushri :
Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, which its scholars recognize.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
