About Our Product
This Handmade Traditional Stupa is crafted from oxidized copper and features a beautifully detailed design that reflects the history and spiritual significance of Tibetan Buddhism. Measuring 28 cm in height and 11.5 cm in width, it serves as a powerful symbol of enlightenment, peace, and protection. Its intricate carvings and sacred motifs make it an excellent addition to any meditation space or altar.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the stupa is a sacred structure that represents the Buddha’s teachings and the path to enlightenment. This oxidized copper stupa serves as a powerful reminder of the Buddha’s wisdom, the infinite compassion he offers, and the spiritual growth one can achieve through his teachings. The darkened, oxidized finish gives the statue a deeper connection to the earth, enhancing its spiritual energy while blending harmoniously with both modern and traditional decor styles.
This Tibetan Stupa Sculpture is not just a beautiful piece of art; it is a source of spiritual blessings, designed to bring peace, protection, and enlightenment to your environment. The oxidized copper material ensures making this stupa an enduring symbol of spiritual growth. Whether placed on an altar, in a meditation space, or as part of your home decor, this spiritual tool invites harmony, balance, and positive energy into your life. It also makes a thoughtful and meaningful gift for those seeking to enhance their spiritual practice.
Introduction of Stupa
Before Buddhism, great teachers were interred in mounds. Some were cremated, while others were buried in a seated, meditative position. The earth mound covered them, giving the stupa's domed shape the appearance of a person seated in meditation, much like the Buddha after he attained Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa symbolizes his crossed legs in a meditative pose. The middle section represents the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, signifies his head. Prior to the creation of human Buddha images, reliefs frequently depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
