About Our Product
The Tibetan Ritual Dagger is a sacred ritual implement used in Tibetan Buddhism to symbolize the transformation of negative energies into wisdom and clarity. Crafted from iron, this powerful ceremonial dagger stands 27 cm tall and carries a strong spiritual presence. Traditionally used in tantric rituals and meditation practices, the phurba dagger represents the ability to cut through ignorance, attachment, and obstacles, guiding practitioners toward enlightenment and inner peace. It is an essential addition to altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual collections.
This phurba dagger features a richly detailed design rooted in Himalayan craftsmanship. The handle is adorned with symbolic carvings, including fierce deity faces and layered ornamental forms that represent protection and spiritual authority. The three-sided blade extends downward, symbolizing the piercing of illusion and the grounding of spiritual energy. The base is decorated with traditional motifs, enhancing its sacred character. Every element reflects deep spiritual symbolism, combining artistic detail with ritual significance.
The Tibetan Ritual Dagger is more than a ceremonial object; it is a symbol of protection, transformation, and awakened awareness. In spiritual practice, the phurba is used to stabilize energy, remove negativity, and create a balanced state of mind. Placing this Tibetan Ritual Dagger in your sacred space invites clarity, focus, and a deeper connection to spiritual teachings. Whether used in ritual practice or displayed as sacred decor, this phurba serves as a powerful reminder of the path toward peace, strength, and enlightenment.
Introduction To The Phurba :
The ceremonial dagger (Sanskrit: Kila; Tibetan: phurba) is essential for expelling evil and is considered particularly effective in neutralizing the forces obstructing Tantric Buddhist practice. It has ancient origins, first appearing in the Indian Rig Veda as the core blade of the vajra used by Indra to destroy the primordial cosmic snake Vritra. Kila, derived from Sanskrit, was most likely associated with Vedic sacrifices. Meditation on the Vajrakila Tantra, an early Indian scripture first promoted in Tibet in the eighth century by Padmasambhava, one of the founding teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, is used to invoke the three-headed Vajrakila Buddha.
