About Our Product
A finely crafted Shakyamuni Buddha statue is presented as a sacred representation of the Enlightened One, formed from a copper body with 24K gold plated detailing and acrylic color accents. Measuring 21 cm in height, 14 cm in length, and 10.5 cm in width, and weighing 1.4 kg, it is designed for altar placement, meditation practice, and spiritual interior environments. The balanced proportions and calm expression reflect deep meditative stability.
The figure is depicted in the traditional Bhumisparsha mudra, where the right hand touches the earth symbolizing the moment of enlightenment and victory over illusion. The left hand rests in the lap holding the alms bowl, representing renunciation and spiritual discipline. The seated lotus posture signifies purity and detachment from worldly suffering. The flowing robe details and finely structured lotus base reflect classical Himalayan artistic tradition, where every element represents awakening, wisdom, and inner transformation. Shakyamuni Buddha is revered as the historical Buddha who attained complete enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.
In Buddhist tradition, Shakyamuni Buddha represents the path of awakening, wisdom, and liberation from suffering. This form is commonly placed in meditation rooms, home altars, and temple spaces to support mindfulness, meditation practice, and spiritual discipline. It serves as a reminder of inner peace, clarity of mind, and the possibility of enlightenment for all beings.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He renounced his lavish palace life, clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his goal, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He then taught that he had visited a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), Varanasi, India.
