This Manjushri Statue, also known as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, stands at 6.29”/16cm in height and 4.72”/12cm at the base, weighing 0.6 kg. Crafted from an oxidized copper body by skilled Nepali artisans, this sacred statue reflects traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. Its compact size makes it well suited for personal altars, meditation spaces, study rooms, or spiritual collections.
The deity is depicted wearing a five-pointed crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas and is seated gracefully in padmasana (lotus posture) upon a double lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. In his right hand, Manjushri raises the flaming sword of wisdom, which cuts through ignorance and confusion. His left hand holds the Prajnaparamita Sutra, resting upon a lotus flower, representing the perfection of transcendent wisdom (prajñā). During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
