About Our Product

This Handmade Manjushri Ghau Locket measures 9 cm in height and 5.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.11 kg. It is crafted from silver, finished with electric gold, and decorated with gemstone, coral, and turquoise details. The front features Manjushri seated at the center within a richly decorated frame. Fine filigree work fills the background, while rows of coral and turquoise surround the figure. Decorative elements at the top and bottom, together with the detailed metal border, give the locket a traditional Himalayan appearance.

This ghau Locket shows Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, seated at the center with his right hand raised holding the sword of wisdom, symbolizing the cutting of ignorance and confusion. At the top of the locket, a decorative vajra motif is placed near the suspension loop, adding another important Buddhist symbol to the design. When the hinged ghau is opened, Four Armed Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is revealed inside, seated in a meditative posture with four arms representing compassionate activity. His central hands are held near the heart, while the other hands display traditional attributes associated with his iconography. The inner figure is surrounded by detailed filigree work, coral, turquoise, gemstones, and fine metal decoration. On the back, the ghau has a smooth gold toned surface with a large raised sacred inscription at the center and smaller sacred characters on both sides, while turquoise details continue around the outer edge.

This sacred ghau locket brings together the qualities of wisdom and compassion through the presence of Manjushri and Four Armed Chenrezig. Its opening form allows the inner deity to remain protected when the locket is closed, while the detailed filigree, coral, turquoise, gemstones, vajra motif, and sacred inscriptions add to its traditional Himalayan character. It can be worn or carried during prayer, meditation, travel, or daily spiritual practice, and may also be kept near a home altar or shrine as a meaningful devotional object.
