About Our Product
The Himalayan Lotus Blossom Stupa is a beautiful symbol of enlightenment, purity, and spiritual awakening in Tibetan Buddhism. Handcrafted from oxidized copper Body and decorated with gemstones, it features a lotus base and detailed stupa design that represent the path to wisdom and liberation. Measuring 31 cm in height, 15.5 cm in width, and weighing 3.18 kg, this sacred piece is perfect for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual home décor.
The Himalayan Lotus Blossom Stupa design holds profound spiritual meaning, with the lotus flower symbolizing the purity of body, speech, and mind. The Stupa is traditionally connected with Buddha’s birth, representing pure beginnings, awakened potential, and the unfolding path of wisdom. Each handcrafted detail adds sacred meaning, from the layered architectural form to the lotus motifs that suggest rising above attachment toward clarity and compassion. As a Buddhist altar stupa, it serves as a meaningful focus for meditation, mantra practice, prayer, offerings, and peaceful spiritual space.
The Lotus Blossom Stupa is a perfect addition to any altar, whether it be in a meditation space or a sacred shrine. Its golden hues and vibrant gemstones are designed to enhance the energy of the space, creating a serene and peaceful environment that fosters spiritual growth and reflection. This stupa not only serves as a reminder of the path to enlightenment but also invites practitioners to connect deeply with their spiritual practices.
Introduction of Lotus Blossom Stupa
Prior to Buddhism, great teachers were interred in mounds. While some were cremated, others were buried in a seated, meditative posture, covered by a mound of earth. Consequently, the domed shape of the stupa evolved to represent a person seated in meditation, mirroring the Buddha's posture when he attained Enlightenment and understood the Four Noble Truths. The stupa's base symbolizes his crossed legs in meditation, the middle section represents the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, featuring a pole rising from the apex surrounded by a small fence, signifies his head. Before human images of the Buddha were created, reliefs frequently depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
