About Our Statue :

This Handcrafted Shakyamuni Buddha Statue, measuring 33cm in height, 24cm in width, and weighing 3.62 kg, is made of a copper body with a gold gilded and acrylic color. Expertly designed by skilled artisans, it reflects traditional craftsmanship and is perfect for personal altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual displays. This statue embodies serenity and enlightenment, serving as a meaningful addition to any sacred space or practice area.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated in padmasana (lotus posture) on a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. His right hand is in the bhumisparsha mudra, touching the earth to call it as a witness to his enlightenment. In contrast, the left hand holds an alms bowl, representing renunciation, compassion, and sustenance. This combination reflects the balance of wisdom and method central to Buddhist practice.

Displaying this Shakyamuni Buddha statue invites calm, focus, and mindfulness, serving as a source of inspiration and meditation. It encourages inner peace, spiritual growth, and a deeper connection to the path of awakening, making it an ideal addition to personal altars or contemplative spaces.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
