About Our Product
This Handmade Buddhist Ceremonial Kapala measures 10cm in height, 5.5cm in length, and 7cm in width, with a weight of 0.29 kg. Crafted from brass, the vessel has a rounded bowl, removable domed lid, lotus-shaped support, and raised pedestal base. The inside of the bowl is finished in red, while the outer brass surface has a warm golden tone suited to traditional Vajrayana altar settings.
This Kapala features a domed lid covered with detailed carved patterns and finished with a pointed finial at the top. Beneath the lid is a rounded offering bowl resting inside a lotus-shaped support, with the lotus representing purity and spiritual awakening. The pedestal below is decorated with raised ornamental work and carved borders, giving the vessel a complete ceremonial form. In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Kapala represents impermanence, transformation, and the changing of attachment and ordinary experience into wisdom. It is also used as a sacred vessel for ritual offerings during tantric practice.
This Kapala can be used on a Buddhist altar, Vajrayana shrine, ritual table, meditation room, or Dharma space. It is suitable for ceremonial offerings, pujas, tantric rituals, and altar arrangements, while also serving as a meaningful reminder of impermanence, spiritual transformation, and mindful practice.
Introduction To The Kapala :
The Kapala set holds the nectar used in higher esoteric rituals. It offers liberation to gods and deities, ensuring their devotion. The offerings are said to be transformed into the Wisdom Nectar, a liquid form of the deity's Enlightened Mind.
