This Handmade Altar Samantabhadra Statue is a handcrafted copper sculpture created by Ajan Bajracharya, showcasing the refined artistry of traditional Himalayan metal craftsmanship. The sculpture represents a meditative Buddhist figure seated in a calm posture, symbolizing inner awareness, contemplation, and spiritual balance. Introduction of Samantabhadra
In Mahayana Buddhism, Samantabhadra is revered as a bodhisattva embodying universal benevolence and auspiciousness. Often depicted seated on a three-headed elephant with six tusks, he is frequently shown alongside Shakyamuni Buddha and the bodhisattva Manjushri, symbolizing the unity of wisdom, compassion, and skillful means. In China, he is especially venerated as the patron deity of Mount Emei in Sichuan Province, where numerous temples and artworks honor his presence. His teachings stress cultivating generosity, moral discipline, patience, effort, meditation, and wisdom, aiming to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings.

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
