Made from silver and decorated with gemstone, coral, and turquoise, the locket combines sacred Buddhist imagery with detailed ornamental craftsmanship. The front is richly decorated with fine filigree work, stone settings, and beaded borders that frame the central image of Green Tara.
This Green Tara Locket features Green Tara seated at the center in her recognizable compassionate form. Her right hand extends downward in Varada Mudra, the gesture of generosity and blessings, while her left hand is raised near the heart in a protective gesture. She is surrounded by detailed silver filigree patterns that form curling floral and scrolling designs around the figure. Coral, turquoise, and other gemstone details are carefully placed across the crown, border, and lower section. The back opens to reveal a hollow inner chamber, allowing the locket to serve as a sacred amulet container for keeping blessed objects, mantras, or other devotional items.
