About Our Foo Dog Set
This handcrafted Tibetan Guardian Lion Set, also known as Foo Dogs, represents protection, strength, and prosperity in the Buddhist and Feng Shui traditions. These sacred protector statues, made of copper with gold plating and red acrylic decorations, serve as powerful guardians, preventing negative energy and providing balance and fortune to the surroundings.
Each lion is 12 cm tall and 11 cm wide, with a total weight of 1.678 kg, giving them an impressive presence. Their elaborate craftsmanship, furious expressions, and carefully constructed head and decorative regions make them a visually appealing addition to altars, meditation areas, or home décor. This Tibetan Lion Set is an excellent present for Buddhist practitioners or admirers of sacred art searching for spiritual protection, wealth, and peace.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
