About Our Product
This Handcrafted Sacred Manjushri Sculpture is created from compressed turquoise dust and measures 8cm in height, 7.5cm in length, and 3cm in width, with a weight of 0.12 kg. The compact figure represents Manjushri, the revered Bodhisattva of Wisdom in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. Its turquoise toned body is enhanced with colorful painted details that bring attention to the crown, peaceful facial features, ornaments, robes, lotus seat, and decorative aureole, creating a meaningful Buddhist artwork for meditation and sacred spaces.
This Manjushri statue portrays the Bodhisattva seated peacefully upon a detailed lotus throne, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. He wears an ornate crown and traditional ornaments that express his enlightened status. Behind him rises the flaming sword of wisdom, Manjushri’s most recognized attribute, representing the cutting away of ignorance, confusion, and wrong understanding. His other symbolic attribute is connected with the Prajnaparamita teachings, representing the perfection of wisdom and deeper understanding of reality. The richly decorated aureole surrounding the deity emphasizes enlightened radiance, while the colorful lotus base and carefully worked patterns complete the sacred Himalayan design.
In Buddhist tradition, Manjushri represents wisdom, intelligence, clear understanding, and the ability to see beyond confusion. This Manjushri sculpture is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, study spaces, libraries, prayer areas, or collections of Himalayan sacred art. His image serves as a meaningful reminder to develop concentration, knowledge, peaceful awareness, and insight while progressing toward wisdom and enlightenment.
