About Our Product
This Handcrafted Padmasambhava Sculpture is a masterfully crafted representation of Guru Rinpoche, the Lotus-Born master credited with bringing Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet. The sculpture is made from a copper body and enriched with 24K gold plating, vivid acrylic painting, and gemstones including coral and turquoise. Measuring 16.5 cm tall, 11 cm in length, and 8.5 cm wide, and weighing 0.88 kg, it is designed for meditation spaces, home altars, or as a spiritual decorative accent that radiates peace and devotion.
The sculpture captures the sacred iconography of Padmasambhava, showcasing him seated in a meditative posture with his right hand holding the vajra (symbol of skillful means and compassion) in the gesture of granting blessings, and his left hand holding a vase representing spiritual abundance. The detailed crown, ornaments, and robes reflect Tibetan artistic traditions, while the embedded gemstones symbolize protection, wisdom, and the enlightened energy of the master. Every detail, from the serene facial expression to the intricate jewelry, emphasizes spiritual guidance and the profound symbolism associated with Guru Rinpoche.
Ideal for collectors, spiritual practitioners, and devotees, this sculpture serves as both a devotional object and a meditation companion. It brings a sense of mindfulness, reverence, and sacred energy to any space, making it a meaningful addition to personal altars, sacred collections, or interior spaces inspired by Buddhist art and culture.
Introduction of Guru Rinpoche
Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, was a pivotal figure in Tibetan Buddhism. Believed to have introduced Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century, he is revered as the "Second Buddha." His teachings are recognized through an oral lineage (kama) and a lineage of hidden treasure texts (termas). He is said to appear in visionary encounters to tertöns, and his form is visualized during guru yoga practices, especially within the Nyingma school. Guru Rinpoche is widely admired across Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
