About Our Product:
This handcrafted Manjushri statue of power and wisdom will bring knowledge, insight, and spiritual growth into your home. This magnificent statue, crafted from oxidized copper and plated with 24k gold, captures the essence of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. Standing 33 cm tall and 23 cm wide, this beautiful sculpture depicts Manjushri holding the sword of knowledge, symbolizing the cutting away of ignorance and the attainment of enlightenment. The exquisite details and vibrant acrylic colors make it a stunning addition to any meditation room, altar, or sacred space.
His flaming sword of discrimination cuts through ignorance, while the Prajnaparamita Sutra, poised over his left shoulder, signifies the profound wisdom he embodies. This meditation statue invites practitioners to cultivate clarity of mind and develop the penetrating wisdom necessary for spiritual liberation. It serves as a powerful reminder of the path towards enlightenment, purifying obstacles and illuminating the true nature of reality.
Introduction of Manjushri
Manjushri, whose name translates to 'Gentle Glory' or 'Sweet Splendour,' is a Mahayana Bodhisattva associated with prajñā (transcendent wisdom). He is often depicted holding a flaming sword, symbolising his ability to cut through illusion and ignorance, and a lotus flower supporting the Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing the realisation of the ultimate truth. In Vajrayana Buddhism, he is revered as an emanation of the wisdom of all Buddhas, an archetype for those seeking to cultivate profound insight and eloquence in understanding the Dharma.
