About Our Statue:
This handcrafted Manjushri sculpture depicts the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, which is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the source of transcendent insight. Manjushri is traditionally summoned to cut through ignorance and awaken wisdom, making this sacred figure an excellent centerpiece for altar practices, meditation, or personal sanctuaries dedicated to intellectual and spiritual development.
This 0.91kg statue of Manjushri, seated in deep composure atop a lotus base, is made of brass and measures 15.5cm in height and 12cm in width. In one hand, he raises the flaming sword of wisdom, which cuts through delusion; in the other, he holds a lotus containing the Prajnaparamita text, the heart of enlightened knowledge. With elegant detailing and sacred symbolism, this piece brings insight, mindfulness, and the pursuit of truth into your home.
Introduction To Manjushri :
Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, which its scholars recognize.
How do you take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with your bare hands can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
