About Our Product
This Handcrafted Lakshmi Sculpture measures 22.5 cm in height, 18.5 cm in length, and 10 cm in width, with a weight of 1.83 kg. Made from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color, the statue features detailed carving across the crown, jewelry, garments, sacred attributes, and lotus throne. The gold plated surface highlights the ornamental details, while the painted areas add definition to the face, hair, robes, and decorative elements.
This statue features Lakshmi seated in a calm posture on a lotus throne, wearing an elaborate crown, earrings, necklaces, and flowing ornaments. Her lower right hand is extended in a giving gesture, while one upper hand holds a sacred object and another supports a small stupa-like form. Her remaining hand is raised near the chest in a blessing gesture. The lotus throne beneath her represents purity and spiritual growth, while the detailed ornaments and sacred attributes reflect her connection with abundance, prosperity, well being, and auspicious blessings. Lakshmi is widely honored in Hindu tradition as the goddess of fortune and prosperity.
This Handcrafted Lakshmi Sculpture can be used for prayer, altar placement, meditation spaces, home shrines, temples, and sacred spiritual decor. Its seated posture, blessing gesture, sacred attributes, detailed crown, and lotus throne make it a meaningful focus for prosperity, devotion, peace, and spiritual practice.
Introduction of Laxmi
Laxmi, primarily known as a Hindu deity, is also highly revered in Tibetan Buddhism, where she is known as Pal Lhamo (Shri Lakshmi). She is considered a peaceful manifestation of Shri Devi Dudsolma, the primary female guardian of Tibetan Buddhism and Lhasa, Tibet. In contrast, her other manifestation, Shri Devi Magzor Gyalmo, is seen as a wrathful guardian. Artwork depicting Shri Lakshmi is often associated with the Gelug Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and is believed to have emerged after the 17th century. Lakshmi, a major deity in Hinduism, is known as Mahalakshmi, Padmavati, Shri, and Bhoodevi, among others. She is regarded as one of the feminine cosmic energy's aspects, symbolizing 'rajas' (the element of fertility, richness, and activity within the universe).
