Introduction of Treasure Box:

In Buddhism, the rationale for hiding Treasures is said to have been formulated when Padmasambhava discerned the future, a time when Tibetans would need specific teachings to get them through particular difficult periods. Therefore, he devised special Buddhist practices and scriptures for those times and set the stage for those unique teachings to be revealed at the proper moment. This involved designating some of his disciples to reveal those teachings in a future lifetime.
