The Kshitigarbha Ruler of Hell Statue is 9.1 inches tall, and it is made of copper covered with 24K gold gilding. This sculpture, adorned with hand-carved gemstones, represents the spiritual creativity of Himalayan Buddhism, making it a powerful addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections, heightening the spiritual importance of Kshitigarbha, the Bodhisattva famous for his promise to rescue all creatures in the realms of suffering, even hell. The figure depicts the Ksitigarbha relaxing on a lotus seat while donning beautifully carved jewelry. In his left hand, he carries a pearl with incredible magical powers. The Varada mudra, which denotes "gift offering," can be seen on his right hand.
