His life and teachings underpin the Nyingma lineage, emphasizing transformation through wisdom, skillful means, and fearless compassion. In this thangka, Guru Sangye is depicted at the center, serving as the axis of realization and symbolizing the living core of the Dharma and the source of blessings for all nearby figures.
Surrounding Guru Sangye is an extensive sacred assembly that transforms the thangka into a comprehensive mandala of lineage and protection. His two consorts, Mandarava and Yeshe Tsogyal, are depicted as embodiments of wisdom and enlightened activity. Above and around him are Amitabha Buddha, the source of infinite light and awareness, and Chenrezig, the bodhisattva of limitless compassion. The lineage masters—Santarakshita, King Trisong Detsen, Longchenpa, and Jigme Lingpa—embody the transmission and preservation of teachings throughout history. His eight manifestations are represented in distinct forms, illustrating the myriad skillful methods by which Guru Rinpoche overcomes obstacles and guides sentient beings. In the lower register, the three formidable Nyingma Dharma protectors—Rahula, Ekajati, and Dorje Lekpa—stand resolute and vigilant, safeguarding the teachings against deterioration. The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
