Handcrafted Sculpture of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava
This traditionally crafted Sculpture of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava was sculpted by our finest craftsmen in Kathmandu in our studio, with countless months dedicated by our master artisans. The statue has a copper body with 24k genuine gold gilded on the body. The deity is holding up a vajra and a skull vase in his right hand, with a trident resting upon his left shoulder. Sitting with a royal posture, Guru Rinpoche is seen with a wrathful expression. Jewels adorning his robe are painted accurately and beautifully with acrylic paint.
A fully gold-gilded statue is perfect for your shrine and meditational practices.

For most Himalayan Buddhists, Guru Rinpoche is the second Buddha, the Buddha of all forms and teachings of enlightenment, focusing on the tantras. Tantra teaches us to initially see our instructors as Guru Rinpoche, just as the Great Way leads us to see our enlightened nature and name it buddha-nature. Then we view everything as Guru Rinpoche, down to the atoms of our bodies, all beings equally, and every scrap of every blade of grass, every grain of sand. Finally, it is Guru Rinpoche who we realize when we recognize our natural, timeless awareness.
