In this thangka, Guru Dragpo is a wrathful meditational form of Padmasambhava that originated in the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism's 'Revealed Treasure' Tradition. Note: Guru Dragpo Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Guru Dragpo, a ferocious manifestation of the guru-saint Padmasambhava, rides atop a burning aureole while wielding the vajra and a black scorpion. The flayed skin of an elephant is draped over his shoulders and a tiger's skin is wrapped around his waist. He wears a garland of chopped heads and a crown decorated with skulls. Guru Dragpo was a powerful protector god of Tibetan Buddhism's Nyingma School in this wrathful meditational form.

Consecration of Thangka Print
At the EvamRatna, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka print to respective Monasteries.
