About Our Product
This Guardian Lion Set Sculpture features a pair of intricately handcrafted lion figures created from an oxidized copper body, showcasing the powerful presence of traditional Himalayan protective artwork. Each guardian lion is carved with expressive faces, open mouths, detailed manes, ornamental collars, and carefully shaped paws, reflecting the skill of artisans who preserve centuries-old metalworking traditions. Designed as a matching pair, these sculptures bring a strong visual presence to altars, entrances, meditation spaces, and sacred décor collections.
The detailed craftsmanship highlights the symbolic features of the guardian lions, including their fierce expressions, curled manes, decorated bodies, and dynamic postures. One figure is presented in a standing stance while the other rests in a protective posture, creating a balanced composition when displayed together. The oxidized copper surface enhances the carved textures and gives depth to the fine details throughout the sculptures, from the facial expressions to the ornamental patterns across the body.
Guardian lions are traditionally placed at the entrances of temples, monasteries, and important spaces throughout Buddhist and Himalayan cultures as symbols of protection, strength, and the safeguarding of sacred teachings. Their powerful appearance represents courage, awareness, and the ability to overcome negative influences. This sculpture set serves as both a meaningful decorative artwork and a representation of traditional protective symbolism, making it a valuable addition for collectors, practitioners, and admirers of Himalayan craftsmanship.
Introduction of Lion Set
The Lion is known as the King of the Jungle. It is one of the most powerful carnivores in the world. A lion's pride can have up to 30 lions, including several females and their cubs. The lion is at the top of the food chain in its environment. They don't have natural predators in the wild because they are so powerful and large.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!

We also received a response to our question how old the Statue is and Where It was Made.We Highly recommend EvamRatna as a relieable Company with Experience and Personal Care.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
