Tibetan Thangka of Green Tara with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
The Thangka portrays Green Tara with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with mother nature beneath colorful clouds. Green Tara is painted at the center, making her visible at first sight. Above her vibrant Halo is Chenrezig. On her left are Vajrapani and Parnashavari; to the right are Usnisavijaya and white tara. Below from right to left are Dzambala, Vasudhara, and Black Dzambala. Above Chenzerig, from left to right, are Sakya Pandita, Amitayus, Amitabha, Manjushri, Ngorchen Kunga Zangpo. Every Deity has its attributes and nature.

In the Thangka, along with the Green Tara, there are Manjushree, White Tara, Dzambala, and many others. The practice of White Tara is performed for any health-related issues. Tara is a meditation deity worshiped by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and to understand outer, inner, and secret teachings such as karuṇā (compassion), mettā (loving-kindness), and shunyata (emptiness).
