Representing Green Tara, the revered goddess of compassion and swift protection in Tibetan Buddhism, this statue symbolizes healing, peace, and enlightened action. Its detailed craftsmanship and sacred symbolism make it an ideal addition to a meditation space, spiritual altar, or meaningful art collection.

Green Tara is depicted seated in vajrāsana on a moon disc lotus base, symbolizing purity and focused meditation. Her right leg is extended forward, showing readiness to help and compassion. She holds a flower in both hands while simultaneously performing the varada mudrā (gesture of granting blessings) with her right hand and the three jewels mudrā with her left, representing refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

Green Tara, also known as Syamatara, is a cherished figure in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying swift compassion and readiness to assist. Revered as the "Mother of Liberation," she is called upon to clear obstacles, shield from danger, and ease worries and suffering. Depicted as a graceful young woman with a serene smile, she sits with one leg extended, ready to leap into action, clutching a blue lotus, a symbol of purity and kindness. Her essence lies in nurturing compassion, offering protection, and overcoming both inner and outer struggles.

Introduction to Green Tara:

Green Tara, also known as Shyamatara, holds a special place in Tibetan Buddhism as the embodiment of active compassion and swift assistance. Legend has it that she sprang from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, earning her the title "Mother of Liberation." Known for her ability to clear obstacles, shield from danger, and bring healing, Green Tara is the go-to guardian for those facing hardship, anxiety, or trouble, always ready to offer swift and loving support when it’s needed most.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks.
