Introduction of White Tara
White Tara is a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, also known as Dolma in Tibet. She manifests as a female bodhisattva to benefit all living beings. According to mythology, she emerged from a tear in Avalokiteshvara's eye, which fell to earth and formed a lake. From this lake, a lotus bloomed, revealing the goddess when it opened. Like Avalokiteshvara, she is a kind, calming divinity who aids individuals in their journey to "cross to the other side."
