About Our Product
This Gold Plated Altar Enlightenment Stupa is meticulously handcrafted from copper and finished with 22K gold plating, accented with turquoise and coral gemstones, creating a radiant and symbolic Himalayan masterpiece. Standing 33 cm tall with an 18 cm square base, the stupa features a multi-tiered structure with intricate stairways, ornamental carvings, and a pointed spire. Its design reflects traditional Tibetan architecture, making it a stunning centerpiece for meditation spaces, personal altars, or sacred collections.
The stupa symbolizes spiritual awakening, inner peace, and the path to enlightenment. Each tier, step, and carved detail represents the stages of spiritual development, while the gemstone inlays enhance its auspiciousness and visual appeal. The pointed spire, adorned with crescent and circular motifs, embodies the ascent of consciousness and the blessing of divine energy. Its balanced structure and ornate detailing bring both aesthetic beauty and spiritual resonance to any sacred space.
This gold plated stupa is ideal for use in devotional practices, meditation, or altar displays. Its presence inspires mindfulness, clarity, and spiritual focus, while serving as a tangible reminder of the journey toward awakening. With its combination of precious metals, gemstones, and intricate craftsmanship, this stupa is a treasured Himalayan artifact for collectors and spiritual practitioners alike.
Introduction of Stupa
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
