Product Description
Gold Painted Namtose Thanka:
The term "Namtose" describes a particular painting method used to create thangkas or traditional Tibetan Buddhist paintings. By using gold paint or gold leaf to specific elements of the thangka, this method enhances its visual appeal and represents the sacred and divine aspects of the individuals or situations represented. As a symbol of purity, enlightenment, and the pinnacle of spiritual achievement in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, gold is used extensively in Namtose thangkas. These respected thangkas serve as visual aids for meditation and contemplation in a variety of Buddhist rites, ceremonies, and practices.
