About Ritual Item :
This handcrafted Tibetan Ghau Box with Chenresig, 12cm high and 11cm wide, is a sacred amulet container for relics, prayers, and spiritual artifacts. This elegant box, made of copper with silver plating filigree artwork, is embellished with artificial stones such as coral, turquoise, and lapis lazuli, representing spiritual balance and protection. The box's core displays an elaborate picture of Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara), the Bodhisattva of Compassion, who represents boundless love and mercy.
In Tibetan Buddhism, a Ghau (or Gau) box is a portable shrine or prayer holder that monks and practitioners have traditionally used to preserve precious relics, amulets, and mantras. This colorful yet very spiritual item is perfect for altars, meditation rooms, or as a thoughtful gift for spiritual searchers. Its intricate artistry and holy symbolism make it a potent symbol of devotion and spiritual connection.
