About Our Statue :
Garuda, the King of Birds, is a prominent figure in Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain mythology, most commonly known as a divine bird and the mount (vahana) of Lord Vishnu in Hindu tradition. This handcrafted Garuda statue is 12.5cm tall and 8cm wide, made of solid bronze with a meticulously applied antique finish that highlights its complex workmanship. It weighs 0.63kg, making it ideal for meditation settings, home altars, or as a collector's item.
Garuda is a large, powerful, eagle-like being. He is both a deity and a mythical creature. Garuda symbolizes speed, martial prowess, and devotion. He is also considered the enemy of all serpents (nagas), which represents his conquest over evil and ignorance. His bird-like features include a prominent beak, broad wings, and strong talons. The linked hands in prayer indicate humility, dedication, and the heavenly figure's intrinsic balance of strength and compassion.

Introduction To The Garuda :
Garuda is a gigantic bird of prey in Buddhism. They are also sometimes known as Suparna, which translates to "good wings, good wings." Like the Nagas, they mix the attributes of animals and sacred beings and are the lowest of the Devas. Garuda has rulers and towns, and some have the magical ability to turn into human shapes while dealing with humans.
How do you take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with your bare hands can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
