About Our Lion Set :
Our ferocious lion statues, crafted with great detail, stand 14cm tall and 16cm wide. Each piece weighs 1.22 kg, totaling 2.510 kilograms for the set. The statues are made of copper and coated with a gold plating, resulting in a magnificent, dazzling impression. Lions are a powerful, protective, and strong symbol in many cultures, and these statues are an eye-catching addition to any home or sacred area, emitting spiritual and aesthetic energy.
In Buddhism, lions are revered as symbols of strength, courage, and guardianship. Their posture, often depicted in a stance of alertness and readiness, signifies their role as dharma protectors, guarding against negative forces and energies. The ferocious lion statues symbolize the fierce protection of the Buddha's teachings. They are often seen in temples and monasteries as a reminder of the importance of strength and resilience on the spiritual path.
The dynamic body stance of these lion statues represents the lion's spiritual attributes. They are positioned straight and attentive, embodying the ferocity required to protect sacred truths. Lions are frequently depicted in protective stances in Buddhist artwork, and these statues reflect this attentiveness. The gold-plated finish highlights their regal nature, underlining their position as spiritual protectors and deep connection to the dharma.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
