About Our Product
The Handcrafted Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is a serene representation of the historical Buddha, symbolizing enlightenment and inner peace. This statue measures 20cm in height, 14cm in length, and 9.5cm in width, and is crafted from iron. Its balanced proportions and detailed surface make it a meaningful addition to meditation spaces, home altars, or spiritual collections.
This Shakyamuni Buddha Statue depicts the Buddha seated in a meditative posture with one hand touching the earth, known as the bhumisparsha mudra. This gesture represents the moment of enlightenment, when the Buddha called the earth to witness his awakening. The statue features refined detailing in the robe, facial expression, and lotus base, creating a calm and contemplative presence that reflects traditional Buddhist artistry.
Placing this Handcrafted Shakyamuni Buddha Statue, also known as a Tibetan Buddha statue, meditation Buddha, or Buddhist altar statue, in your sacred space supports mindfulness, focus, and spiritual reflection. It serves as a powerful symbol of awakening and wisdom, making it ideal for practitioners, collectors, and those seeking meaningful Buddhist altar decor.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
