About Our Product

This Handcrafted Shakyamuni Buddha Statue embodies wisdom, peace, and the path of enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhist practice. Made from oxidized copper, the statue depicts Shakyamuni seated in a serene meditative posture on a lotus base. His right hand rests on his knee in the bhumisparsha mudra, symbolizing the moment of enlightenment, while his left hand holds a bowl representing renunciation and the offering of one's ego, often associated with a vajra or nectar vase symbolizing wisdom and ultimate enlightenment. Standing at 12 cm tall, this sacred piece is ideal for personal altars, meditation spaces, shrine rooms, or spiritual collections.

Shakyamuni Buddha is revered as the historical Buddha, the awakened teacher who revealed the path of mindfulness, compassion, and liberation from suffering. The lotus base, meditative posture, and detailed craftsmanship reflect the refined artistry of Himalayan Buddhist traditions, making this statue both a visually captivating and spiritually meaningful addition to sacred spaces.

Placing this Shakyamuni Buddha statue on your altar encourages mindfulness, inner peace, wisdom, and focused spiritual practice. It serves as a sacred focus for meditation, prayer offerings, mantra recitation, and devotional practice. This handcrafted statue also makes a thoughtful gift for practitioners, collectors, or anyone seeking a Buddhist symbol of enlightenment, clarity, and spiritual grounding.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
