About our Statue:
Enlightened Sage Icon Shakyamuni Buddha stands 5.9 inches (15 cm) tall with a 4.1-inch (10.5 cm) wide base and weighs 0.57 kilograms. Skillfully made from a copper body, it is enriched with 24K gold gilding and accentuated by delicate gold and acrylic paintings. Despite its compact size, it radiates the depth and elegance of traditional Himalayan artistry, perfect for personal altars, travel shrines, or intimate meditation spaces.
The statue portrays Shakyamuni Buddha seated in padmasana (lotus posture) atop a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. His right hand is shown in the bhumisparsha mudra (earth-touching gesture), representing the moment of his enlightenment when he called the earth to witness his awakening. The left hand gently holds a begging bowl, signifying renunciation and the monastic lifestyle.
Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, was a spiritual teacher who lived over 2,500 years ago in ancient India. He founded Buddhism by attaining enlightenment (awakening) under the Bodhi tree, teaching the path to liberation from suffering through wisdom, ethical conduct, and meditation.

Shakyamuni Buddha, once Prince Siddhartha of the Shakya clan, left behind his royal comforts to seek a more profound truth beyond the joys and sorrows of the world. How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
