About Our Product

This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is crafted from a copper body with silver plating, gold and acrylic color, and an antique finish that gives the piece an aged devotional character. Measuring 15.5cm in height, 10cm in length, and 7cm in width, with a weight of 0.63kg, it is well suited for Buddhist altars, shrine tables, meditation rooms, and spiritual collections. The warm painted face, silver toned robe, and darkened surface details create a peaceful contrast that reflects traditional Himalayan Buddhist artistry.

Shakyamuni Buddha is shown seated in meditation on a lotus base, wearing a monastic robe decorated with fine linework and sacred patterns. His right hand touches the earth in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, recalling the moment of enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree, while his left hand rests in his lap in a calm meditative position. The statue also shows traditional features such as elongated ears, softly painted facial details, curled hair, and the ushnisha, symbolizing awakened wisdom and spiritual realization.

As the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni represents compassion, wisdom, discipline, and liberation from suffering. His image is often placed in a sacred space to support meditation, mindfulness, and reflection on the Dharma path. Whether displayed on a home altar, meditation table, or shrine room, this statue serves as a reminder of inner peace, clear awareness, and the possibility of awakening through sincere practice.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana (becoming a Buddha). He later taught that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, specifically Sarnath (Benares), India.
