Introduction To Treasure Box :
In Buddhism, it is said that the rationale for hiding Treasures was formulated when Padmasambhava discerned the future, a time when Tibetans would need unique teachings to get them through specific difficult periods. Therefore, he designed unique Buddhist practices and scriptures for those times and set the stage for those teachings to be revealed immediately. This involved designating some of his disciples to reveal those teachings in a future lifetime. Padmasambhava then uttered an empowering prophecy about that future revelation and hid the teachings so they would not be available until the proper prophesied moment.
Today, the treasure box is used for various purposes. One can use it to set up and meditate or as a decorative object. Sometimes, it contains different chambers for specific things.
