Dorje Sempa with Consort Thangka | Meditational Deity
Our artist painted Dorje Sempa with Consort Thangka in an exquisite manner. The Thangka is painted with 24K gold and a variety of acrylic colors. The soft green halo illuminates the face and presents with the lovely blue nimbus that engulfs him. The river flowing beneath the various colored clouds is intriguing, adding to the distinctive ambiance of this scenario.

Note: Vajrasattva Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Vajrasattva holds a bell in his left hand and a Vajra in his right hand. The bell represents wisdom, while the vajra represents compassion. He sits serenely on a moon disc atop a lotus seat, his legs crossed, symbolizing that he remained in this impure cycle of samsara for the sake of sentient beings while remaining unblemished by its flaws. Vajrasattva is a purification-focused meditational Bodhisattva deity who is worshipped by Vajrayana Buddhists of all sects. According to the scriptures, repenting to Vajrasattva and singing his hundred-syllable mantra can cleanse one of all sins and obscurations. One of the four preparators of ngondro, a preparatory but necessary practice in Vajrayana Buddhism, is the Vajrasattva cleansing ceremony.
