About Our Product

This Dorje Sempa Spiritual Statue is a handcrafted Tibetan Buddhist sculpture measuring 34.5cm in height, 26cm in length, and 21cm in width, with a weight of 4.67 kg. Created with a copper body, 24K gold plating, acrylic color, gemstone, coral, and turquoise details, this sacred statue represents Dorje Sempa (Vajrasattva), the Buddha of Purification and Purity. In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered for his practice of purification, helping practitioners cleanse negative actions, thoughts, and obstacles while cultivating wisdom, compassion, and spiritual clarity.

This Vajrasattva statue reflects detailed Himalayan craftsmanship and meaningful Buddhist iconography. The deity is shown seated peacefully upon a lotus throne, symbolizing purity, spiritual awakening, and the transformation of ordinary experiences into wisdom. Vajrasattva wears an ornate crown, jewelry, and flowing garments that represent his enlightened nature. His right hand holds a five-pronged vajra (thunderbolt) near his heart, symbolizing the indestructible nature of wisdom, compassion, and enlightened awareness. His left hand holds a ritual bell (ghanta) resting near his waist, representing wisdom and the understanding of emptiness. Together, the vajra and bell represent the union of compassionate method and profound wisdom, which is essential on the path to enlightenment. The intricate ornaments, gemstone decorations, coral, and turquoise details enhance the sacred appearance of the sculpture, with turquoise symbolizing purity and spiritual connection, while coral represents protection and vitality.

This Tibetan Vajrasattva Statue is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, purification practices, and sacred home decor. Devotees often connect with Vajrasattva through meditation and mantra practice to cultivate inner purification, peace, and spiritual transformation. Displaying this sacred figure serves as a reminder of self-reflection, compassion, wisdom, and the continuous journey toward enlightenment.

Introduction To Vajrasattva:

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
