Introduction to Dorje Lekpa

Dorje Lekpa, also known as Vajra Sadhu, is a powerful wrathful protector deity in Tibetan Buddhism, especially revered in the Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. His name means "Indestructible Mighty One," reflecting his fierce commitment to protecting the Dharma. As a dharmapala, Dorje Lekpa is invoked to remove obstacles, guard sacred teachings, and ensure the safety of practitioners. He is particularly associated with the binding of oath-breakers and spirits, having been subdued and bound by oath by Guru Padmasambhava to serve the Dharma.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching the face with the bare hand can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
