Product Description
Hand-Painted Himalayan Dorje Drolo Thangka Painting
The Dorje Drolo Thangka, Padmasambhava's wrathful manifestation, has been exclusively hand-painted here in our studio. He is one of the 8 manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. Here in the thangka, we have depicted the deity riding a wild, savage tigress through a flaming fire, trampling on a corpse on a bloody river. He has three big eyes and sharp teeth with a vajra in his right hand and a kilaya in his left. With utmost devotion, we have created this art using Buddhist text and iconography to ensure that it meets all the features of your meditation practice. We have used cotton canvas and acrylic colors to portray the deity. To further highlight the features of the deity, we have used pure 24K gold.

Guru Dorje Drolo is the crazy wrathful Buddha of the degenerate era. He has no regular pattern to his wrath. He is a manifestation of crazy wisdom. He is an ecstatic manifestation of Padmasambhava, the deity Dorje Drollo embodies the forces of insight and compassion beyond logic and convention. Invoking in the practitioner the fearlessness and spontaneity of the awakened state, Dorje Drollo transforms hesitancy and clinging into enlightened activity.
