This Decorative Altar Jewellery Box is a finely handcrafted piece made from copper with mercury gold and acrylic color detailing, combining traditional Himalayan ornamentation with a functional storage design. The front panel is richly decorated with an offering symbol at the center, surrounded by two intricately carved dragon motifs, while the lower section features two snow lions accompanied by detailed floral patterns. The sides are further embellished with mythical bird motifs, adding to the symbolic character and elaborate appearance of the box.
The top of the box features an auspicious symbol with a Cheppu motif at the center, while another Cheppu design appears along the lower decorative section. The detailed borders, scrolling patterns, flowers, and colorful acrylic work create depth across the copper surface, while the gold finish highlights the raised carvings. On the back, the box features a Kalachakra symbol, adding an important Vajrayana Buddhist element to the overall design.
