Traditional Hand-Painted Artwork of Cundi Buddha

With decades of expertise in Thangka art, we have artistically hand-painted Cundi Buddha Thangka. Using cotton canvas and natural stone colors, we have hand-drawn Cundi, as mentioned in the meditational guide. Here the deity is depicted with 18 arms that hold a conch shell, vajra, lasso, an eight-spoked wheel, a heavenly fruit, a hook, an ax, a sword, a lotus, and various other ritual paraphernalia. She wears pearl, jade arm ornaments, and a white celestial garment seated on a lotus throne. Alongside the natural stone colors, we have also used genuine 24K gold on the thangka. You can use this thangka painting for various purposes, such as in your regular meditation, Buddhist rituals, and even home décor.

Note: Tsundri or Cundi Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

She has her Tantric epithet as the Most Victorious Vajra or Subjugation Vajra. She is the mother of all the deities of the Lotus class. Therefore, she is known as the Buddha Mother. She is less known in the Tibetan Buddhism tradition or among Western Buddhism enthusiasts. These sacred, esoteric Buddhist teachings can usually be dated back to the later Indian Buddhism, from the seventh century onwards.
