Gold Gilded Crowned Buddha Shakyamuni Statue for Meditation and Ritual
This exquisite Buddha Shakyamuni Statue employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. Hand-carved out of copper by traditionally trained Vajrayan artists, this statue has brilliant luster due to the gold gilding. Shakyamuni Buddha can be seen in the statue sitting on a moon disc lotus with an alms bowl resting on his left lap and projecting his recognizable serene demeanor while the halo behind him accentuates his serene expression. He forms the 'Bhumisparsa Mudra' in his left hand, representing one of the most important moments of Buddha's life, i.e. when the Buddha achieved enlightenment as he claimed the earth as his witness for it.
This piece is highlighted with acrylic colors and has an antique finish providing it with a classic element of antiquity. It a perfect for any devotee like yourself and can be used for various Buddhist rituals and activities like meditation and yoga.

After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
